The Macarthur Chronicle linked to an article this week about an American “Astro Political Activist" Stephen Bassett, who is touring the world talking about what he misrepresents as the 'truth embargo' on extraterrestrial contact, through which he 'explains' the history of aliens arriving on Earth and the efforts to keep these visits under wraps. He said “The ET presence is quite real; most of the major governments, or components of these governments, know it and this has been kept from the people for too long.”
It came as no surprise to read that tickets to his talk are $30 at the door!
In response to my quick post that "Some people really are gullible" one UFO believer said: "Haha, Roger, I can't believe that you think that we're are the only life form in the entire universe!! That's funny! Look at how many different species there are just on earth! And you want to tell us that there's nothing else out there?! You must be in denial. You call us gullible for believing there is some other life form out there (even when the odds are highly in our favour) - well we call you crazy for your scepticism".
