Christian Ethics
They want any ethics classes to teach “Christian Ethics”. Some of the charming things Christian “ethics” have done for us over the centuries include violent abuse and raping of young children by priests and nuns; enforced child brainwashing at home and schools as well as in churches; and frightening children into believing by threatening them with stories about hell and punishment.
Other well established forms of Christian ethics include: seeking and obtaining tax breaks to unfairly advantage religious groups over others; lobbying governments to impose draconian christian views on less powerful non-believers; proselytising their beliefs at every opportunity; arrogantly believing only Christians can be 'good'; and ripping money off all it's follower's.
Christian ethics have encouraged extremism, bigotry, smugness, fanaticism, arrogance, bullying, misogyny, paedophilia and homophobia. They have produced people who will kill for their beliefs as they seek to impose their views on the rest of the world.
The Pope's ethics include protecting child molesters and refusing to cooperate with law enforcement. Archbishop's and bishop's ethics permit covering up crimes and perverting the course of justice. Trusted priest's ethics allow them to inflict themselves on innocent children and then enforce their silence.
Christian ethics allow for twisting the interpretation of their 'holy' book, which is full of contradictory fairy stories, to suit their own beliefs; and insist on unquestioning obedience and docility towards their men's club of fools who enhance their authority by wearing gaudy robes and ridiculous hats.
Most Christians devoutly believe it is ethical to indoctrinate young minds with stone age beliefs and many still preach the demonstrable lie of 'creationism' and tell kids they will burn in hell if they don't believe it. For the last two thousand years religious ethics have regularly churned out prophets of doom who convince gullible people that the world is about to end and of course, religious ethics are directly responsible for countless wars.
Christians ethics insist on proudly shouting a reliance on untestable faith from the rooftops and unashamedly employing a carrot and stick approach to promote their strange beliefs. This includes the apalling false promise of post-mortem survival for all 'believers'. An ethics system like that sucks the gullible into their church by relying on fear. It is dishonest and reprehensible.
Christian ethics belong to a bygone age and should be consigned to the dustbin of history, not forced on the innocent minds of young children.
