A letter in last week's Macarthur Chonicle snorted at climate scientists and said we should look to shock-jock Alan Jones if we wanted to know the "truth" about climate change.
My response:
Alan Jones' stance on climate change has fostered strong disbelief in the science among right wing Liberal Party supporters. It saddens me that the Leader of the Liberal Party, Tony Abbott, has also succumbed to this perilous path, making a divisive issue out of climate change and producing an unconvincing wishy-washy policy for reducing emissions after next month's election.
Future generations will hold THIS generation responsible for not acting, if the climate really does turn against us.
