There aren't too many similarities between science and religion.
One similarity is that they both make predictions. The difference is, religion is always making wrong predictions and science is always making right predictions. For example, twice in 2011, religion has innacurately predicted Jesus Christ's return and the end of the world; and twice this year, science has accurately predicted a total Lunar eclipse. (The second eclipse has not happened yet but it will: at 01:06:16 AM on Sunday 11th December).
Religion is always predicting the return of Jesus, they've been predicting it for two thousand years and they're still waiting. Whilst science can predict cosmic events to the nearest second, religion cannot get their own "cosmic" predictions right at all, not even to the nearest millennia!
Science is always making predictions and invariably is proved right. Religion is always making predictions and is always proved wrong. Religion also predicts immortality for any person who follows Jesus. What a cunning prediction that is. Give us your money and our church predicts your post-mortem survival. You'll never know if the prediction was accurate!

Religion is ALWAYS wrong and keeps updating it's predictions. Science is ALWAYS right. You can have faith or you can rely on the scientific method.
