A News Now Report says that "the number of New Zealanders with 'no religion' has officially surpassed the number of people who identify as Christian in New Zealand".
Newly released data from the 2018 NZ Census shows:
No Religion: 48.59% (41.92% in 2013).
Christian: 37.31% (47.65% in 2013).
By way of contrast, here in Australia at the 2016 Census:
'No Religion': 30.1%
'Christianity' 52.1%
