A survey in America, Generational and Time Period Differences in American Adolescents’ Religious Orientation, 1966–2014, shows that increasing numbers of young people are opting out of church involvement.

I put my faith in the youth of today and I think that the golden years of religion are numbered. The graph makes it quite clear that, as US children begin their transition from childhood to adulthood, they are breaking away from the mythical beliefs of their parents.
They are breaking the human faith-chain which passes religion from generation to generation.
