Yet another religious survey chronicles the steady decline of religion.
This one, from the Pew Research Centre, compares religiosity in the United States between the years 2007 and 2014.
The infographic says it all:
The US adult population rose from 227 million in 2007 to nearly 245 million in 2014.
Of the five major groups, "Unaffiliated" jumped from fourth to second place in the rankings with a rise of 6.7 percentage points. If this continues at the same rate, "Unaffiliated" will become the largest of these five main groupings by 2017!
"Non-Christian faiths" was the only other group to rise.
The three main Christian groups all fell.
