This was the third exhibition of Macarthur Astronomical Society members astro-images and also the shortest, lasting just half a day. It was held in conjunction with the visit of Professor Brian Schmidt to talk about "The Accelerating Universe".
I was very proud to have eight of my images selected for display at the Macarthur Astronomical Society Photographic Exhibition, Magnitude III, at the University of Western Sydney today, alongside some more stunning images from Chris Malikoff, Humayan Qreshi and others.
That's three of my modest attempts at astrophotography, The Ring Nebula (M57) (top), Comet 2012 F6 Lemmon (centre) and the setting crescent Moon (bottom).

Well done to the MAS Committee for it's organisation of Magnitude III, especially to Chris Malikoff for producing, mounting and hanging the images. This was a great day for the Society - with the exhibition, lecture by Professor Schmidt and a display of telescopes.
