I would mainly like to write about astronomy and photography and other beautiful things which interest me. I sometimes write about days gone by and current affairs which concern me.

I normally allow comments for new posts but until I can figure out how to completely stop spamming, I will go back and stop comments on older posts.

All too often I find myself diversifying into the ugly world of religion. I write about it from my atheistic viewpoint - not because I hate religious people (on the contrary) but because religious beliefs are so utterly ludicrous and because much of what organised religion does affronts me and makes me feel embarrassed for the human race. 

If my religious output upsets you then please understand I am not trying to offend individual believers.

As Ricky Gervais once said, "Why is saying there is no god considered disrespectful to believers - but saying there is a god not considered unrespectful to atheists?"
